My brother and I were born and raised in a low-income family, but that has never hindered our determination to learn. My 12-year experience in Vietnamese public schools reflects an education system centered on heavy curriculum and rote memorization. Due to the lack of soft skills such as communication and presentation skills, 237,000 recent graduates of the public education system faced unemployment in 2017 (EVBN,2018,p24-37).
