My brother and I were born and raised in a low-income family, but that has never hindered our determination to learn. Our parents always encouraged us to work hard and study diligently in order to succeed, and their advice has remained deeply ingrained in me. My desire to learn about Korean education came about quite unexpectedly. In eighth grade, as the internet began to emerge in Vietnam, I discovered the Korean television program Running Man. Through this program, I learned many things about Korea and its people, including traditional costumes, cuisine, and beautiful cultural landmarks.
